Techspace Aero, a well known Belgian company specializing in the design, development and production of modules, equipment and systems for aeronautic and space propulsion, announced it will purchase the assets and the business of Pratt & Whitney CENCO, Inc, part of United Technologies' Pratt & Whitney unit.

Its growing success in this area has led the company to create a special department dedicated to this activity: the Test Cell Engineering Business Unit.

Pratt & Whitney CENCO designs turn-key aero and industrial gas turbine engine test cells, prep facilities and associated ground support equipment and services for commercial aviation, military aviation and power generation industries.

These offerings will be transferred to a new Techspace Aero subsidiary, CENCO Inc located in Minneapolis (MN), which together with the Techspace Aero Test Cell Engineering Business Unit will continue to provide customers the same high level of Service.
