Turbomeca signs two major contracts with two companies belonging to the American PCC group

Turbomeca has announced the signing of two contracts with american companies for the forging of parts and for the casting of its turbine blades. The first contract, signed with Wyman Gordon – based in Texas -, concerns the manufacture of turbine disks (nickel-base super-alloy) for the Arriel and Makila and covers a period of 6 years. The second contract, signed with PCC Airfoils – based in OHIO -, concerns the casting of HP turbine blades for Turbomeca’s Arriel, Arrius and Makila engines. The contract has been signed for a period of 5 years. These contracts are part of Turbomeca’s current effort to broaden its panel of suppliers for high-tehnology products.
