Shortly before French President Chirac’s arrival for the opening of the 45th Paris Air Show, everything is now set up on the exhibitors stands. For Snecma, Jean-Paul Béchat, the Group Chairman and CEO will show the way to President Chirac during his 15 minutes visit on the Group’s stand, exhibiting the Rafale’s M88 engine, Mirage’s M53 engine, rocket engines, helicopters and missiles engines and last but not least a mock-up of the SM146 engine. Still under development by its two partners Snecma Moteurs and NPO Saturn, it will power the family of regional jets - RRJ - launched by Sukhoi.
